Iris Flower

Across an open field
Where your troubles are left to yield
Iris flowers grow for you
To see the things you could really do
When you love a girl and everything is right
The Iris flower gives you what you want at night

But, decieving the flower
Takes away your power
And after all the lies
That the girl sees in your eyes
She leaves you to die
In the tears that you cry

When you give up on love
Wish you could fly away like a dove
But, when you find out you can only dream
Left to stand on that skinny beam
You will die of all hate and rain
That comes from your pain

All because of the power
That you see in that Iris flower
