...in a blue sky

a very blue sky

i'm not certain why it was so blue today - perhaps due to all the storms we've been having - the clouds gather - rains move in - making colors swirl together - in a deepening way - who knows - i'm making it up! then you have the finch - who some believe to be rather lowly - in the bird family - it's somewhat plain appearing - not a lot of color to be seen - it sort of blends in with its surroundings - for the most part

but on this day - you have some basic primary colors - the blue of the sky - that green tree - plus the striking red cap of the finch - mix it all together - the combination simply can't be beat - at least not in my mind - that red on the finch - seems to glisten, don't you think? - against the blue of the sky - well, people - once again - it's the simple things for me - that really makes for...
