Look at me mum!

Every year we have birds nesting in the Leylandii hedge in our back garden. At this stage in the process we have to keep a look out for neighbourhood cats who might pick off the fledglings. This little fella landed on the garden fence this evening and was quite content to sit for a while having a wee rest before trying out his new found flying skill again. You can see that he's still got quite a lot of his baby downy fluff along with his new feathers.
