Today we ventured into Yosemite to spend the day at one with nature! First we walked around the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias .... Some of these trees are 1800 years old and the size of them is just awesome....makes you feel so small!
Next we took in the view up at Glacier Point. A panoramic beauty seeing Half Dome, the waterfalls and Yosemite valley below. Just beautiful, a great place to sit and enjoy a coffee!
The most exciting bit was seeing a bear as we just strolled through the car park! Luckily walking the wrong way busy chatting to Dane when I saw the little golden furry bear. He is actually a black bear even though he is gold! Far enough away to not worry us and quite happy letting a bunch of tourists watch him forage through the tree barks!
Not my best picture of day as have some lovely landscapes but this was my highlight so he gets the blip!
