Frozen River

The River Dee in Aberdeen has been frozen for over a week now - but having been away, today was the first chance I got to go down and see it. It was actually gorgeous. The bit that this shot it of had thawed a bit on one side and was kind of moving. Further downstream was still totally frozen all over. But I preferred this shot with the huge iceberg looking thing. There were also some swans in a tiny bit of water at the side. Not sure why they didn't fly to get out, they looked trapped in. Stupid birds ;)
