Methven Mid Canterbury

Well this morning dawned crisp and clear with my car a solid mass of ice. By the time we were ready to leave the motel the sun had done its work. You cant beat a bright day after a hard frost.
Following lunch headed back home after a very enjoyable visit and good to get home in time to get the fire going before the sun went down.
My sister is still having a tough time in hospital in Dunedin but is off to Christchurch on Wednesday for a Pet Scan which is the Rolls Royce of scans for one final look to see if there is anything they can do for her. Medical Science for cancer diagnosis has certainly progressed over the years. Lets hope this will be a better week for her.
