Lyssa Zampa
I do like the name Lyssa Zampa, it sounds like it should be the name of an exotic dancer or femme fatale or Bond girl. Instead, it's the name of the tropical swallowtail moth, which has a wing span of between 10 and 16cm or as big as my hand. This one was about 13cm, delicate shades of grey and white and black. It was being coy, and hiding part of itself behind the frame of the window. It was actually upside down, rather bat like, so I rotated the image for easier viewing.
I am much much better, thank you all for your get well wishes over the past few days, normal commenting be resuming! The daughter and sunshine are both also on the mend., just in time to enjoy their 4 weeks off school, also good for me - no 6am starts for a month, hurrah!
