a long day
I caught the 10am charter flight to Dublin for the Leinster v Glasgow RaboPro12 final. Up at 5.30, and left the house at 6.30.
The 11.30pm flight back was delayed until 1.45am (broken plane) and it was 4am when I got home. Dawn.
Glasgow let themselves down in the 2nd half, and were crushed. It was a great event, however. At €54 for a ticket (centre stand, admittedly) it wasn't a cheap one.
I spent the afternoon hanging out in Killiney and Dalkey, in the southern suburbs. Much nicer than the city centre on a warm, sunny Saturday.
The Blip is Coliemore Harbour in Dalkey. A lovely spot.
Two personal bests to be noted yesterday. First, €14.50 for a pizza in Dalkey. Almost 3 times the cost in Gaimersheim. Second, driving home from Glasgow Airport in 1 hour precisely. It's 68 miles.
