Toumani and Sidiki Diabate
My son and I went to see Toumani Diabate and his son Sidiki play at the Usher Hall. I didn't take any photos of them while on the stage because the music was so beautiful and enchanting it felt like it would spoil the moment. They both played the kora which is an African harp. Their kora skill has been passed down through the family, Sidiki being the 72nd in line.
While there I thought about the choir I'm in, we have the fortune and luxury of rehearsing each week at the Usher Hall, I wondered if anyone else from the choir would be there and low and behold there was Ged :o)
