Walk on the Wild Side

Exploring the roads around Guiting Power was the object of the day. By now the weather was amazingly warm and sunny, and it was to last the rest of the week. To be honest it was probably a little too warm for walking any great distance; five or six miles were covered, through scenery like this. Areas of woodland were found, including a brief sighting of what I believe was a honey buzzard; very dark 'eyes' under the buzzard's wings, a migrant to wooded areas this time of year.
