If the cold snap continues like this, people might actually consider keeping penguins as pets. Temperatures are expected to fall to around -20C in some parts. Inverness is basking in temperatures of "just" -7C at 5pm when I came home from work.

Wheel-spinning up the hill, I made it into the car park. I don't know if I'll make it out by morning when I'm sure Torville and Dean are due to make an appearance...
