Birds, Caterpillars, and a Large Fire

I checked the traps for the Lyme Disease project at 7:30, went to a meeting with the EVOS (evolutionary studies) department at 11, and met with the lady from Price Chopper at 12:15. All three of my summer jobs before 1pm.

Arthur's friend from High School called and said he was up at his barn and we should stop by. We had spent a weekend there last summer and it was one of the highlights of the summer. It's 25 minutes away from Binghamton on the Pennsylvania/New York state line.

The barn is a really cool place. We sat by the pond for a bit, found an injured baby bird, started a large fire of scrap wood, and rode ATVs. It was a lovely afternoon and I hope we get to go back this summer.
