Busy Bee

We have had a lovely day weather wise. Dog walk took us through the woods and around the bridleways.

Katie did a 'stinky roll' - very pleased with herself she was. I wasn't and she had to be washed down when we got home. She did go for a swim in the beck which softened and loosened the offending mess.

The lanes are lined with cow parsley which has attracted loads of bees. This was my favourite shot - the bright light allowed for a fast shutter speed so there is not much movement.

I shot from low down to include the hedging behind and the sky. I liked the way the clouds almost mirror the shape of the flowers. During processing I also noticed the little insect just in front of the bee.
