Impressions of Sennen Cove and district
Sennen is on the northern coast of Cornwall, famous for beaches and tin mines, trying to capture the essence of the place isn't easy on a single image, especially when using something so basic as a phone camera, and no usable zoom worthy of the name.
Hopefully this triptych will serve, it shows the Carn Galver tin mine near St Just, also the wonderful White Sands Bay.Beach at Sennen Cove, there are people and a vehicle belonging to the R.N.L.I. on the beach, but it's so big, they look minute!
Last but not least it shows the fishing boats in Sennen harbour.
Note, no pleasure boats here!
Being a native of Hull, it always warms my heart to see fishing boats, since we lost all of ours in the cod wars!
