Fun Run

Here you go - a break from grandson photos...

Church this morning was early so folk could participate in or watch the Great Midlands Fun Run - which was called the Sutton Fun Run in the days that I ran in it. It begins just outside our church - here the runners are just waiting for the countdown - about 7000 of them.

We'd forgotten what an emotional experience it is to watch them - and the variety is amazing - from small children to a very doddery looking man; folk pushing fully laid tables, wheelchairs, pushchairs and lots of dogs on leads.

Such a community experience; glad we could watch.
