Chanteclair

Went up to Lintrathen to get a bit of fresh air today. Seemed like a good idea at the time, however, birdwatching is a dangerous business when you're tired. I got a couple of shots of a heron (although only one of them was good enough to crop) but generally not much happening. As I listened to the bees and watched the swifts darting across the water, I could feel myself falling asleep. I turned and looked round at the man to suggest that maybe, we should think about heading home... only to find that he had was dozing peacefully.

So, home seemed like a good idea. Popped in past Peel farm to pick up some cakes for a friend and found this guy posing (waiting to be fed by visitors to the coffee shop) with his pals.
