Deer Stalking

Enjoyed a run round Peaseholm Park in one of Ebor's (my orienteering club) small events. The sunshine had brought out lots of families all intent on making the most of the best day of the week. Lots of dragon pedal boats were out on the lake and ice creams being consumed by the onlookers.

Having helped to collect the controls in we stopped off in Ebberston where a small herd of deer are kept just in front of the church. Having walked down the verge I was spotted and they headed up to the far corner of their field. Not to be out done I sneaked through the woods and into the church yard where a wall prevented them noticing my approach.

I managed a few shots before they scooted away again.
