Beware of the Duck

Went for a walk this morning to the end of the lane and as we came back into the village these signs had arrived. It's only a narrow lane and although this bit looks wide for most of it cars have to pull over to get past each other, but it gets used as a bit of a rat run in the morning and evening and by courier vans taking a short cut, all of which tend to speed. The Parish Council have been talking for years about traffic calming but it never seems to get past talk; maybe this is the latest idea to slow the traffic?
