The Tees Newport Bridge
Following on from my blip last week, here is Middlesbrough's other famous bridge which was opened in 1934 linking the town with Stockton-on-Tees.
It was the first large vertical lift bridge in Britain. It's final lift was in November 1990 although it still carries road traffic.
Later on this year, there are plans to paint the grade II listed structure in red and silver to mark its 80th birthday.
