The Full Monty

As Monty got bypassed by the butterfly yesterday I felt he should be my blip today - he was in the garden again this morning and as soon as I went out he came to me, and proceeded to roll over, but as soon as Alan approached he ran off. I wonder if he thinks it was Alan that was shooing him off before lol!

We had a great day yesterday and ordered the folding bikes, bought a bird bath for the garden and various sausages! The Ditchling Sausage Company was at the garden centre we went to, and we bought Kangaroo, Wild Boar and Spicy chicken sausages. We tried the Wild Boar and Kangaroo, and they were very nice, so they're now in the freezer ready for when we have a BBQ. We then had a lazy afternoon in the garden before going to Alison and Tony's new house.

Back to today, we cycled into the centre of Brighton as it was the London to Brighton classic car rally, but to be honest we thought it was a bit disappointing as there weren't that many cars. We had a wander into town and then sat on the beach at a new beach side cocktail bar and had a drink before cycling home. The weather has been fantastic and we felt like we were on holiday, and in fact we go on holiday in 12 days so it really put us in the mood.

The dinner's cooking now, but it's still warm so we're going to eat outside and light the chiminea and make the most of it - happy Sunday!
