Bluebells
A lovely last walk with the dog before heading back to civilisation. The bluebells are lovely this year, though getting anything requires quite a lot of bracken destruction, which is always fun.
I will be back down visiting my wee nephew tomorrow. Last night's excitement was that he now has a name - Callum, which is great. There had been some discussion, as the first idea his parents had didn't go down terribly well with other family members, but everyone seems to like Callum, so we better hope he likes it too once he's old enough to have an opinion about it! According to his dad, today he had tests on his head and kidneys, and everything's where it should be, which is good to know! I suspect the medics used more technical terminology to report the results... His poor mum is continuing her game of musical rooms in Ayrshire Maternity Unit, having over the last 9 days been in rooms 1,4,10,13,14,17 (twice) and 31, plus of course the labour suite, and is on the move again today. Nightmare is the word, I think, it would be so much easier if she could just relax in the same place for more than a few days! Friday's blip of Callum made the spotlight page - fame from a very early age!
