Crossing

Crossing the road is a dangerous business for hedgehogs. I tried to encourage it out of death wish mode and to cross over but it was only interested in my shoes. Finally had to manhandle (well woman handle doesn't sound right) it in to the undergrowth on the other side. Hope i don't find a flat hedgehog there next time i pass because i will then think i put it on the wrong side of the road!!
