peregrine family

I woke early, the sun was shining, a stark contrast to yesterday and a good reason to get up and out. Where else but to check on the local peregrine family.

When I left on holiday there were eggs but no one could see how many. Well I am pleased to report that a few days later 3 chicks were born. They are already developing wing feathers as you can see here as the mothers leaving the nest with some left overs in her beak.

The perfect start to a day and to get me going and out of the post holiday blues.
