Lest I forget

This grave stone sits next to my uncle's grave stone in Bistre Churchyard, Buckley.

Private Edwin Davies was one of the first soldiers from the town of Buckley to die in action.

I am keen to find out more about him. He has lain next to my uncle, Gerald, who was killed in the Second World War for 71 years.

Edwin was 22, Gerald was 24.
