Shelfie
Ahem.
There's a #BookaDay hashtag running on Twitter. It's a June challenge to tweet a book title every day - but.....
,....there's always a but, isn't there?
Each day, it's a particular category of book you have to tweet. Some are a bit weird.
Today's was straightforward being your favourite childhood book. Straightforward though not easy. I ended up tweeting Jean Webster's 'Daddy-Long-Legs', a book I loved although I'm a bit surprised to realise it was published in 1912. There were loads of others I could have chosen, but I can see that some of them might. Fit into other categories.
However, not sure I'm looking forward to: 'pretend to have read it', or 'least favourite book by favourite author' or 'forgot I had it'.
If you like books and are on Twitter, you should go take a look!!
By the way, there are many more shelfies I could blip from my house! I carefully chose this one because it has fellow blipper Peter May's books on one of the shelves.
