He's up and at the table!

So Arthur finally got up from a reclining position today- either from being in bed or from lying on the sofa. He's wobbly on his legs and has a tiny croaky voice but hooray - he's up!!!

Today Giles nipped to home base while Arthur slept to get cuprinol paint, some lavender and herbs. The garden is looking fresh and tidy. The weather today has been lovely and it's been nice to get outside.

When Giles got back, Annie and I went shopping in Waitrose. At the checkout, the man behind us was making Annie laugh. I recognised him but couldn't place him. The girl on the till got his autograph and the lady behind in the queue chatted to him in a 'you're famous' manner but I can't think who he was! I guess I'll never be able to tell Annie about her brush with celebrity!!!
