Brits and the Beach

You know what I love about the English? They go to the beach and make a day of it, even if it is WAY too cold for swimming. It was only about 16 degrees today, yet groups of friends and families all had their beach chairs, towels and esky's set up and were genuinely having the time of their lives down by the water. No one except a few kids were even going near the ocean, but they were happy enough just relaxing, playing sports and building sand castles. I applaud their stubborn enthusiasm to make the most of beach life.
