Urban by Nature

Perhaps a bit of a cheat of a photograph today - as someone else video imagined it before me. But its for a reason - today we went to the Urban by Nature exhibition in the Art Gallery (Kunsthal) here in Rotterdam. More technical than art but with a strong message about the future of the planet and some fascinating explanation of how many cities are re inventing themselves to take advantage of the spaces left by out of date industry, moving roads underground to create recreational breathing space, a view of the future of energy and food demand, as well as some explanation of how animals and birds are developing to use the city as a base as their traditional habitats are removed . This shot is part of a movie about the Netherlands island of Texel where there is an enormous environmental project (almost experiment} to save Texel from its own tourist excesses of the past
