Theme parks!

Today the kids had a day off school for Caloundra Show Day. That meant that it was just the immediate area and not Brisbane or the Gold Coast that had a day off! Fleur had the good idea of going to the theme parks since it should be pretty quiet!!

We went to Wet n Wild first, getting there just as it opened. Craig, Harry, spence and Kaz went on the Black Hole first then we went on another couple then Craig and I went on the Tornado! It's like a big funnel that sends you hurtling down and up the sides a few times then spits you out the bottom! It was really cool!

We had lunch then went to Movie World. It wasn't busy there either which was great! I got to go on three new rides I hadn't been in before! The Akham Asylum, Green Lantern and the Scooby Doo Scary Coaster! I loved them all! The kids had a great time too, we stayed until 5 when the park closed then went across the road and all had Thai together for dinner then got home about 8!
