The battle of Prestongrange

These historical re-enactors were the stars of the Battle of Prestonpans family weekend at Prestongrange museum.

They put on a fine show of bangs, flashes, smoke and swordplay.

I hadn't realised the lengths they go to when it comes to authenticity; the drummer was telling me that he normally wears glasses... a pair that were made in the Seventeenth Century.
