Fairy house
We've had a great day today. We spent the morning in the forest, exploring the woodland, the play areas and the UFO trail (Rendlesham is famous for UFO sightings). The children had icecreams, Thankyou Grandma and Uncle chrissy! We even found a very tricky geocache, which Master Pink was super excited to find.
The play areas are fab, and lots of fun for everyone, including the grown ups! There was a den building area, but the boys weren't so interested in building dens, so while they played on the zip wire, Miss Pink and I built a fairy house, using twigs, bark, moss and pinecones. There were lots of special features that Miss Pink added, such as a chimney, a bridge, a door and window, decorations and flowers growing up the walls. It was a very special house.
After lunch back at out tent, the children had a play around the campsite with various friends that they had made and some friends from home who were also staying and had just arrived.
Mr pink took the mini pinks over to the small play area for a while, so that I could do a little bit of sewing (yes I know, I should be on holiday....)
We had a lovely barbecue for tea, and then snuggled up for a very chilly night!!
