In the Botanical Garden

We had a nice election day here in Akureyri. After we cast our vote we decided to get a cup of coffee in Lystigarðurinn/The Botanical Garden since ÁLFkonur had just opened their third photography exhibition there today. The theme this time is the colors of the Icelandic flag; Red, white and blue (this year it's been 70 years since Iceland formally became an independent republic on June 17, 1944).

The salsa-jazz band playing in front of the photos is "Cuba Libre". The music was a nice addition to the sunny weather and lovely atmosphere in the garden today.
