Stay behind me man!!!

Day in London to support R whilst she competed in the PruHealth World Triathlon in Hyde Park. She did so well considering she was disappointed with her 750m swim (a touch of GBH and a smack on the head from a bloke overtaking), an awesome 20K cycle ride and a steady 5K run. Completed in 1hr 35mins & 40 seconds, well within her predicted time!!

We had a great vantage point to see her on the cycle and running circuits and cheer her on. B & I were joined by P’s parents (the in laws), so the four of us armed with cameras was enough to spur her on, but her main driving force was the fact that she was fundraising for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

It was a great day enjoyed by hundreds of competitors and spectators. I think we might have a date in the diary for next year!!
