WINTER !

Another grey, gloomy day down under, so I looked for the brightest picture I could find. These geraniums at the front door appeared to fit the bill. Having flowered all Summer they are beginning to look a bit tatty, but I am amazed they are still hanging on ! They're allowed to look tatty, after all it is Winter & they should be tucked up in bed.

A great thrill this morning when Moose (of Wild Moose fame) rang, during a 4 day trip down from Auckland. He knows I drink that Scottish Amber stuff, & caught me out by suggesting it was the kind of weather to partake of a Glenmorange together. Alas, I chickened out. We have this little joke going between us, harmless but fun. It even lifts ones spirits (ha ha) to have a laugh on such a dull, boring day. Good one Moose !
