The First Day of My New Blip Year

On Friday I got an 'upgrade' on my arthritis medication. This new version is supposed to have a time release so symptoms are more controlled evenly throughout each 24 hours. The proof was in the good night's sleep I had last night.

The morning began with a lot of sunshine and increasing heat. I have to get those sunscreens back on my windows.

I made an attempt to tidy certain areas in the house today. I organized some paintings. Put one in a frame. I poured water into the bird bath only to discover it was really filthy. D came along to attach the hose and tip out the bird bath which is far too heavy for my hands even before adding water. Let's see if those birds like it.

We had an early dinner overlooking the city when D finished work this afternoon. I'm sorry to see the decline of this particular restaurant. It looks neglected and the quality of food was not what it once was. I order a New Mexican meal that usually is such a full plate that I need to take half of it home for the next day. Not so today! The coffee served I sent back. It just wasn't fresh no matter what they would like me to believe.

We'd dodged the thunderstorm heading into the restaurant. From its vantage point we could see the storm move through and out of the valley again. I appreciated the cooling effect of the storm. My house is comfortable again this evening.
