Italian Fountains, Kensington Gardens

Designed by renowned architect James Pennethorne for Prince Albert in 1860, these are similar to the Italian fountains that Albert commissioned in Victoria's summer residence, Osborne House on the Isle of Wight.

The fountains appear in two films: Wimbledon starring Kirsten Dunst and Paul Bettany; and Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason with Renee Zellweger, Colin Firth and Hugh Grant.

The fountains were extensively repaired in 2011 with money from Tiffany & Co in New York from their charity Tiffany - Across The Water which allows Americans to raise money to maintain the Royal Parks in London.
