PIED SHAG in flight

A very fine winters day ( first official winter day in NZ ) with a blue sky following a goodly frost this morning. The temp. is a bit diff than the Cook Islands where we had between 24-29.5deg. we are getting acclimatised though and pleased there is a big high over the country set to last a few days.
Here's the result of a very difficult days twitching - the birds are hard to come by right now !!
