Long Walk Home

After a cold grey morning, the sun finally came out this afternoon and the world looked glorious. We took the opportunity to go for a walk but because I kept stopping to take photos we didn't notice that we had walked such a long way.The light was beginning to fade and we had to quicken our pace on the return walk so that we could arrive home before dark. I snapped this picture of my husband striding out in front of me.
