Postcards Wall

The Postcrossings project is coming along nicely since I received my first card on 25 March. Now I have enough to cover the front of the top cupboard in my study and have started on the lower one.

The stats on the website tell me that so far I've sent 22 postcards and received 24, from Belarus (27 days travel time in post) to the USA (12 days travel time). Some of the ones I've received are already particular favourites, such as the one of the tree in the top left-hand corner, which quotes (in French) Jesus's saying: 'I am come that men may have life, and have it more abundantly'. (John 10:10).

When I send a card to a part of the world which is particularly troubled at the moment (such as the Ukraine - 2 cards sent there), it's good to be able to include a short message of hope and encouragement.
