A rose in the Rose Garden

I spent a delightful morning in the local park with a friend and her children and visited the small rose garden. A large number of the roses were in bloom and I lost myself for awhile in their lovely colour and scent while taking a series of shots. I do love the delicate colours and textures of the petals.
