There once was an ugly duckling

Struggling for a blip today with too much to choose from. I walked down the avenue, up the road and back in through the Parkland orchard at the back of us. There are so many flowers and bees but strangely no butterflies, and the sky was looking stormy. I did spot an orchid but it's not fully open yet.

So today I've gone for a flower bud and maybe tomorrow I'll go for the flower, if it's still there.
