Aqueduct
Our Wednesday walk with the Ramblers started at Kinlochard, near Aberfoyle, and took a southern circular route through the Loch Ard Forest before continuing onto an eastern loop - we covered about ten miles in total. And it stayed dry!
On the first loop, we passed under the Kinlochard Aqueduct several times as well as having some good views of it from a distance, while the second loop gave us some excellent views of Loch Ard. We finished the day with some wonderful home baking at The Wee Blether Tea-Room - if you're ever in the area, it is highly recommended. Watch out for meringues the size of Ben Lomond!
The photo is a close-up shot of one of the spans of the aqueduct.
