My birthday

It is my birthday and the boys and Santana made it very special. Lovely presents including my new macro lens (which will take some practice) and several books which I will enjoy. I spoke to my Dad and he seemed well, although a pity he couldn't join us, and had texts and cards from friends and family.

We went for a walk up Loughrigg Fell. I had walked up it some years ago but it seemed steeper today but it was great to get to the top. Lovely views and lots of people out enjoying the day. In the evening we went to a local hostelry which was lovely and everyone was in good form.

I am a very lucky girl.
