Poppy

I love the centre of this poppy. I reminds me of 'iced gems' my granny used to buy when I went to visit. I always used to lick off the icing bit first before eating the biscuit underneath.

We spent all day outside today as it was so nice. The garden looks a lot better now but we are certainly feeling the exertion!

We spoke to daughter-in-law-to-be this evening. She was on her own as C was at work. They are currently house hunting and wanted to chat it through. Good to be involved.

We are having a staycation this week. We have a list of wet/dry things we want to do so it is up to the weather now!
