Icy cobweb

Last night the temperature got as low as minus 14 degrees. At least the heating is still working. We are waiting for an oil delivery to fill up the tank so hope the heating keeps going until that arrives.

The roads have been mostly cleared today of snow so I was able to get out and go to the swimming pool. Me and Max had the pool to ourselves. So much for new years resolutions. Normally the pool is really busy this time of year with people trying to lose weight. I guess just standing outside would shiver off the excess pounds!

This picture was taken from the kitchen window. I'm impressed that a spider can be bothered to make a web in this cold, but I guess we all have to eat somehow....
