Green day - County Show

^^Sunday 1st June^^ Too much fun for one photo today. After a busy morning of bumps, paddies and packing, we made it to swimming (late!). Fun class and nice to take weight off the healing toe.
Then we went to the county show...ambitiously without stopping for lunch or toddler naps. Thankfully both boys had short sleep in the car. Gorgeous funny weather, I looked particularly fab in socks and sandals!
Managed to see everything we wanted with both in the buggy then it was time to release the ambling toddler for wandering at tangents. So many tractors to sit in...so little time!
Nathaniel managed to keep his cool despite the heat, lack of decent nap and tempting farm machinery. Did test our parental powers of distraction "oh Nathaniel look at that giant tractor/mow mow/combine/cow/bale of hay*" (yes that actually worked!). Managed to avoid having to buy John Deere merchandise, candy floss or have to go on fair ground rides...I wonder if we will get away with it next year?! Balian had a lovely time being adorable. Thankfully he didn't want to climb up the 7ft high serrated metal steps to sit in the combine...sadly his big brother did!
