Grey skies

It was the annual year 4 trip to Grandes Rocques today. We went rock-pooling and found all manner of creatures. Crabs, hermit crabs, fish, winkles, shrimps and anemones. Much excitement and wet feet all round. All afternoons at school should be like this! :-)

The rock pool
is a magic circle
full of treasures
from a sea king’s cave—
thrown up for the delight
of children
by swirling tide
and crashing waves!
