Mt. Shasta and the Dalliance of the Eagles

Driving home from our vacation, we were distracted from mountain-gazing by two birds flying in amorous formation. It reminded us of Walt Whitman's "Dalliance of the Eagles" and of Gerard Manley Hobkins' "Windhover."

I left my charge cord for the new labtob at Devorah's house. She has mailed it to me, but until it arrives on Wednesday, I will be using the old labtob, the one missing the letter that comes after the letter o in the albhabet. Sigh.
