Just about to head for home. The last day of a two week road trip in the Highlands of Scotland. It has been just sensational. I will be back.

To anyone who hasn't been you are missing some of the most beautiful scenery.

Thanks to everyone who has helped make the tour such a pleasure. So many experiences to put on the "Best Of" list.

If I could do just one of them again tomorrow it would be the experience of inching forward on my stomach to the edge of a cliff on Staffa looking at tame puffins just a foot away from me. Goodness. What a memory. And then seeing them from the boat leaving the island and looking up at the spot where I was a few minutes earlier and realising I had been crawling on a downward sloping overhang...GULP!

But there were loads of others, so I have got to return to experience them again...
