Tinshill moves off from the parade ring with Paul Mulrennan
aboard. Punters' hopes are also riding high on a horse that
had claimed victory on his previous outing at Redcar some
two weeks ago and earlier in the year at Beverley. But the
carrying of weight is the penalty for success in handicaps.
Whilst the number of the horse usually bears no relation
to its finishing position, the number would today have been
a very useful guide to the punter ! The three horses ahead
of Tinshill at the finish line of this 5f sprint were all carrying
less weight. The handicapper had taken his revenge !
